My Electronics Lab
« on: October 19, 2012, 08:39:57 pm »
In the corner of a very messy garage.
This is with my Caddy Panelvan outside.
As you can see, I use the wifes bonnet as an extension of the workbench.:
(and yes, the small table is my total workbench...)

Soon I will get organised.

Amazing things happen on small labs too. Remember Dave's workshop at the garage?

Doesn't that direct light aiming to your face cause you headaches?

Your next project should be a remote car starter for your cars so you can park them outside and then take over all the space for a bigger bench or two!. I'm guessing that you live in a cold climate.

I was using the 500w flood, because I was trying to make a video blog of me fixing a television. But in the end it turned out to be a blooper reel of me getting kicked by the main cap on the powersupply (multiple times).

Think I should upload the clips of me getting shocked?

Not really a cold climate (I am on the South Coast (Margate)),
That night though, it was raining, and I am still recovering from Bronchial Pneumonia, and also have tonsillitis, so the wife said I must bundle up.

you could do with going to a DIY store getting a work top , some 4x2 to make a frame for it to sit on, a bench is born, B&Q even cut them to size for you here in Peterborough.

Next time get an old blanket to lay on the bonnet, will save the scratches. You need some shelving as well.

Upload the blooper reel, it will be funny.........

If anybody thinks Margate is cold then they have to be joking, a place where you can swim year round, and wear shorts always. Plus there is the sea.

Started this afternoon with a good cleanout,
and mounting the parts drawers on the side of a big cupboard (so no more parts falling all over the floor).
Will very soon be getting wood to make a nice workbench (will post pics as I go)

If you look at http://youtu.be/_B_De5c4XlA There is the video of me getting zapped by the psu cap for the tv

Could be anything from 1974 to 2010, when they were discontinued by VW.

It is a 2006 VW Chico.
Which is just a variation on the golf.

2006 Chico, very nice vehicle. Cheap to run, very economical and you can get the whole car just about as spares from Golf City and Capricorn.

Rare enough to see them around, I've only ever seen one here
