The human body is conductive, somewhat like seawater, so I would guess that radar would not penetrate inside the body and would instead just see the conductive skin. Similar to how submarines can't (?) use radar.
Of course, subs use SONAR...
There is no reason why a similar technology to this cannot be developed to take advantage of SONAR characteristics.
Oh, hang on, it has... Its called an ultrasound. Think - pregnant woman.
Miniaturization of ultrasound technology would be really cool.
With both technologies it's all about the interpretation of the image.
The technology demonstrated here has so many applications...
