fwiw if anyone missed out on Starship Troopers, it's well worth a watch and still holds up today,
better than a lot of todays sci-fi ordeals
The first 'Starship Troopers' and 'Starship Troopers 3: Marauder' are the ones to go for, and buckle up!  8)
'Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation' is ok and watchable, but the original main cast/actors aren't in it,
and TBH doesn't pump as well for me in comparison.. EMMV
SST3 is half shit, SST2 is super shit made by junkyard director how dissapointing .. agreed on the rest and few SST anime's that came later...

I always go to cinema on a week day morning about three weeks after the film is released. Get the whole place to myself so I can pick a seat, chew loudly and fart as much as I want.
if it caught my eyes, while others try to hackgrade their DS1054Z to DS1104Z ("ethically") i will go to Tee Pee Bee a month after and i can even shit all i want while watching however many i want and delete it if i dont think it deserves my HDD space. so i can get rid of all this cinema blockbastard politics bullshit...

For those who decided to skip, here is the spoiler ...  >:D

Emperor Palpatine still alive and more powerful than ever, Riley and Kylo in love, she gets pregnant and made Kylo turned against the dark side. In the past even Yoda the most powerful Jedi, couldn't beat the emperor as he was so strong, so did Kylo & Riley, as both even with their light sabers skill & force power, simply were too weak to beat him, but eventually the emperor was instantly killed and destroyed by the super duper baby in Riley's womb, just by pointing her belly button to him, the end and all live happily ever after.

Star Wars is like every big budget kid movie made, today. It's tailored for export to China. That's mostly who will watch this garbage.

Hollywood doesn't captivate Americans, anymore. The only reasons we watched Adam Sandler's last movie is because it was free on Netflix.

At least Hollywood is decreasing the China trade deficit, now.

A Youtube commenters/reviewers (left foot media) suggested, after seeing it, waiting for TROS to show up in your free movie queue on which ever streaming platform you have.

I dont like movies, where the director has a political agenda, and feels like they need to spoon-feed their audience it. In your face style, whether you want it or not. Not at all. Doesnt matter if it is a Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Doctor Who, or any of my favorite film franchises. Or Marvel movies. I'm just going to watch it 3 years from now on Netflix, and give it a thumbs down, or borrow a Bluray copy somewhere, but I'm not going to pay for brainwashing.

Disney is huge on politics. They try to get people at the early years, when they are the easiest to target. Whether I agree with their agenda or not, doesnt really matter, because I find it disgusting and wrong. I dare the time, when (if?) I have to take my kids to the cinema.

Turkish films are very good nowadays, the only problem is you have to know turkish. >:D

I am glad I never ever watched a single Star Wars episode.

You have to have seen the original "back in the day" to appreciate how original and innovative it actually was.   Since then, well "not so much" and that's putting it mildly.

Fun fact. Mel Brooks sent the script over to George Lucas with a note saying that if there's anything in there you don't like, let me know.

George not only sent the script back, but didn't even read it. He said he wanted to watch the finished movie like everyone else. "I trust you. I saw Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein."

I enjoy listening to a podcast called HelloInternet and they put out a special edition where they talk about RoS. They are long time Star Wars fans and I think talk about it in interesting detail.

Warning it is entirely filled with SPOILERS. See it first before listening if necessary. The podcast isn't cast to put you off going if you're wavering or not an authority on the canon.

I'll wait till the hype is done and wade trough a TROS DVD or bluray at a much later date,
at home or at friends and avoid the cinematards with their phones, drivel chat, giggles, stinking sneakers,
and avoid imperial entanglements temptation on my part, to indulge in DIY ushering..again  >:D

and also because The Mandalorian as recommended above, is kicking serious ass !

so why settle for over-acting smothered with CGI and 'make it up as you go' script aka TROS  :-//

There's only one thing MORE utterly idiotic and wasteful than taking movies too seriously, and obsessing over them, and that's starting internet "discussions" about them.

It's fiction. It's entertainment. It's like eating a chocolate bar - go and buy one, eat it, then move on. No one gives a shit, and if they do, well...  :palm:

I had to go back and check this post wasn't from the same person who started another thread on "Has pop music lost its fun?".
