Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was trying to delete his LinkedIn account and accidentally bought the company
Though seriously, isn't anyone else wondering about possible connections between Microsoft buying LinkedIn, and Microsoft's objectives as revealed in Windows 10 and their pushing hard to force every PC in the world to run it?
I doubt Microsoft's profit calculations involved LinkedIn in isolation, or were even entirely economics-based.
Put it this way. The company that wants to know everything about what you do on your PC, what software you use, what media you possess, everything you type and every web site you visit, and is happy to attempt *forcing* you to submit to this oversight, just bought the company that tries to know everything about your career and connections to friends and associates.
