Some old ICs...

Found these at my local surplus shop. I think a '66 date code is the oldest I've ever seen.

According to history, the DIP package appeared in 1964-65 so those would definitely be one of the first.

Like an archeologist finding some ancient artifacts from a long lost civilization.

If you don’t have anything better to do with them, you may contact forum member Noopy, and ask him whether he would be interested in decapping them and taking pictures.
