SOT-23-5 component AS7172 identification
« on: June 22, 2026, 08:45:48 pm »
I'm unable to identify it with google nor Turuta smd catalogs  |O
If ND in SOT-89 package is npn transistor then AS**** can't be one of suggested LDO's (pin5 Vout would get near 24V through ND).
If AS**** is Voltage detecting/reset IC then it would get near 24V to pin3 Reset through small 6 legged T1 part (two transistors inside?) at the right of board.
If not these then what???  :-//

3 Hall sensors are on reverse side of PCB. So I really doubt this also to be a kind of it.
Maybe knowing there are many components from Japan semiconductor manufacturer/-s helps.

The marking style reminds me of Rohm.

Example: BU4S81G2, SSOP5, ROHM, marking 12 + xx + xx:

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/MoQAAOSwOvZmirDh/s-l1600.jpg

"131P10" appears to be a ROHM RSD131P10 P-channel MOSFET:

https://pdf.voron.ua/files/pdf/ms-prod/rohm_semiconductor/rsd131p10-312372.pdf

"SH8K22" is a ROHM dual N-ch MOSFET:

https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/348/h8k22-1144258.pdf

"6605G" is a Toshiba TB6605FTG 3-phase Full-wave Sine-wave Brushless Motor Controller:

https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/408/TB6605FTG_datasheet_en_20150423-1109756.pdf

I think the 8-pin "D69" part is probably a ROHM IC, maybe BD69xxx.

Edit: This example is "IGBT Rohm BD8693FVM-HVT MSOP8":

https://images.prom.ua/3217149974_drajver-igbt-rohm.jpg

Edit #2:

BD6982FVM, ROHM, Standard Single-phase Full wave Fan Motor Driver:

https://fscdn.rohm.com/en/products/databook/datasheet/ic/motor/fan/bd6982fvm-e.pdf

"ND" also looks like a ROHM part.

Example: 2SD1664T100Q SOT89 ROHM

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/18gAAOSwhVFniJFQ/s-l1600.jpg

Edit:

"ND" is ROHM 2SCR514P NPN transistor:

https://www.verical.com/datasheet/rohm-semiconductor-bjt---general-purpose-2SCR514PT100-853600.pdf

The 6-pin "T1x" IC appears to be a boost converter.

This appears to be the Hall sensor (Toshiba THS122):

https://pdf.dzsc.com/THS/THS122.pdf

"52" is a ROHM RB055L-40 40V 3A Schottky barrier diode:

https://www.lcsc.com/datasheet/C559643.pdf

Larger chips I think I identified correctly. But that AS7172 (or A77S12) shows low ohms between pins 1, 2 and 3 and needs replacing to be able to move forward.
According my latest observations some op amps or comparators offer compatible pinouts. But without marking decode that is only my guess.

BTW, all checked components had 5 symbols max in markings according datasheets. Or is there something behind the lines I do not know regarding component marking?

I think it's definitely a ROHM part. Only the top two characters are significant. I think the package is SSOP5. It might help to identify UA and Z1.

Could Z1 be dual NPN + PNP transistors?

https://fscdn.rohm.com/en/products/databook/datasheet-nrnd/discrete/transistor/bipolar/umz1nfha.pdf

FWIW, "AJ" is a BU7251G comparator, "AZ" is BU7251SG:

https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/348/rohm%20semiconductor_bu7251g-e-328559.pdf

"AM" is BU7231G, "AY" is BU7231SG:
