I'm just waiting for the first 'self-driving car goes berserk and kills multiple people' news story.

One is all it will take. Then we won't have to listen to any more of that stupid starry-eyed fantasizing about what a boon self-driving cars will be for humankind.

Yes,the conjunction of the Auto Industries' propensity for major stuff-ups & the Chinese Electronics Industries' policy of producing the cheapest & nastiest thing they can doesn't augur well for the future.

It's in a scene from a charlie chapplin movie, the "modern times" when a feeding robot fails and start to beat him in the head ! this scene was hillarious !
