I'm OK with this as long as it is easily identifiable from distance.

Hahahaha!!!! Shield hat = shat

"Reflects Electromagnetic waves"... Perhaps if the person is also willing to use an all-lead stormtrooper uniform with that.  :palm:

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

Hi,

[sarcasm]

I can not wait for the follow on product, listed in the KS Comments:

This will allow me to  stop me having to wear tin foil undies in the lab. I have been, on occasion, been embarrassed by answering the front door with them on. I have even driven to the mall (with them on) after a long day in the lab.

They have got the right idea here. I don't care if my brain gets irradiated, but my junk ....

They talk about holding a short poll, they can't even spell pole, I don't know whether to trusted them with my 'Pole' or is it 'Poll'? :-//

[sarcasm\]

A fool and his money are soon parted.
The only worrying thing would be if they actually delivered the clothing, instead of spending the KS money on a wild party in Slovakia*.

*read the comments on KS.

What if the radiation source is below the horizon of the hat's rim?
That will let the hat act as a reflector 'into' the person's head...
Don't ask a question if you aren't willing to listen to the answer.

So, the "solution" to being afraid of electromagnetic waves, is to put a parabolic dish on your head with a focal point in the middle of your brain?

Imagine how cool it would be to achieve Earth-Mooon-Earth using one of those hats as the dish, the weave may allow even 10GHz, so you would get decent gain for the 'dish' diameter  :-+
PS does it come with the special protective 'curried egg paste'? ( I hope I have my ghost buster quote right)
Whoah! Watch where that landed we might need it later.

When you are a massive hipster and a conspiracy theorist. You can't go around wearing those normal tinfoil  hats.
If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole.
If you run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.

WTF it got successfully funded!

Received mine in the mail today. Only thing I've noticed so far is I cannot hear the spaceship homing signal. So not sure if my boarding pass will work.
