Elecrow.... Manufacturing Process?
« on: September 27, 2014, 01:39:29 am »
Is this something they can do?  Would there be any extra charge for anything? There is alot of routing, but I've already done the penalizing for them. Honestly if they did it, I doubt they could get it as tight to save board amount. I don't want to checkout the cart items, if they come back and say they need more money.

The size is 185.44mm x 189.48mm

I would check with them first. They have several levels of services and some of them have restrictions on panelizing.

Ya, that's what I thought.

I'll just go with my current supplier. they don't fuss over that stuff to try and get an extra buck out of the consumer.

Send them email, you have nothing to loose, they do respond to email.

The restrictions on paneling are because some deals are for 10 pieces with a given max size. If you panelize you practically get more pieces. Other restrictions are about mixing different boards on the same panel. This way you get 10 + 10 instead of placing two orders. However they have several levels of services including 'premium' so the best is to check with them.

At 13.90 for 10 10x10cm boards....I think they can charge alittle extra.  :-DD

On my small stuff theses guys have beaten elecrow for small runs.
3pcb.com  very very close to elecrow if not the same mfg.

You can save a lot of money on shipping with the thinner board from them:)

Also elecrow will bid almost anything for you just email them
order@elecrow.com  There very easy to work with:)
