TinkerCAD crash
« on: October 01, 2015, 03:05:46 am »
Hi all,

I'm encountering SEVERE crashing problems with TinkerCAD 3D tool. I use TinkerCAD as a convenient 3D concept tool. It works perfectly if I don't insert texts. After a text shape was generated from a string and when I'm working on the text shape, it constantly crashes my browser, and worse, Nvidia graphics driver.

Since the driver itself crashes, I would say it is a bug in OpenGL stack. Am I the only one getting my driver to crash with OGL? Anyone have encountered such problems?

My platform: Windows 7 Pro 64 EN-US OEM, FireFox 40.0.3, Nvidia driver 355, GeForce GTX750Ti, Xeon E3-1271v3, 16GB ECC RAM, C226 workstation mobo.

Thanks,
Bo

I have a GTX460 on one of the PCs in the house that began to crash badly after the last driver update as part of  windows update (i believe in September). Try rolling back the Nvidia driver.
