As expected, the milking of customers has started. Are you using the free ESXi? It's no longer available (

). Someone from a service provider with a VMware based platform told that they are paying about US$ 40k per month for licences/support. VMware's new push for VCF licencing would increase that to 270k per month (

in German). Many customers are looking for alternative products right now.
