Is this actually authoritative or just, as Linus once put it, "some guy wanking around with his opinions"?  I mean, the tech descriptions seem accurate, but what about the projections of where this will lead?

Sure, and unfortunately Elon Musk bought all our CPU's for robots so we have to increase the prices.
And there was a flooding... outside the building, so we have to increase the prices.
And and and... There is a bad phase of the moon, so price hike.

Qatar exports about 52 million m³ He per year which is about 40 % of the global trade volume for He. MRIs (about 1 m³ He each) will be impacted too.
