I am quite happy with my windows phone. I can easily accept there is nothing inherently wrong with Windows phone OS that prevented its widespread use. There are probably many stories where business, legal or financial reasons stymied a good product from achieving success.

It would be very hard for another player to get significant market share with a third mobile device OS now.
