Christopher can you post your source for the tubes ? I can't get any at the moment but would like some in future and it would save me searching

My package arrived as well! Thank you very much!
Package received!!! mauroh and eliocor done.
Thank you zucca for the amazing effort
Ciao Mauro
I was willing to identify the small containers and with a quick google search I easily got it!!
The key words are - Microcentrifuge Tubes screw - or - pcr tubes screw -
So if we'll need spare, there are plenty of source.
I was also thinking to get some tray / rack with 12 columns instead of 10 to better organize the E12 series.
By accident I also found the Tindie store of CHristopher (thank you again Man!!)

Hi,
yes, these are indeed PCR tubes. The ones I used are 2ml tubes with rubber o-ring seal. There are many places you can buy them from, just watch out for the o-ring and that they have a bottom that lets them stand on their own, most of them are designed in a way that they will only stand in racks.

In my case I bought the kits for the R SMD, the rest was nice to have...
After playing a bit with it, it's a slow process to get the SMD part out:
1- pick out the little container
2- unscrew the container cap
3- place the tweezer inside and get the SMD part
4- screw the container back (hoping it did not tilt/fall down on table before that)
5- place the container back in the hole in the fixture.
with proper SMD containers:
you need just 3 steps:
1- open the lid
2- place the tweezer inside and get the SMD part
3- close the lid
Plus it's much better to organise the kits/components (Lego brick build concept) AND you can staple the kits on top of the others without worrying that any containers could fall out the fixture.
Anyway that's my personal taste...
If you want the empty containers + fixtures I can sell them to you... 10 Euros for TWO + SHIPPING??? OBO send me a PM
Totally agree, but my big concern was space.
With one 8x3inch (~20x8 cm) rack i can fit the entire E12 series (mixing the 0-10ohm and 820K-1M values)
In the short term I'll just cut the received acrylic, rearranging it as 12x5 holes and removing the screws that at the moment are just in the middle of a usable spot!!.

Thanks to Zucca! And mauroh too.
Yes, it made its way to Holland! Probably already yesterday but I had to leave the office early.
Big Thanks! to Zucca!

Do you have a source for good ones?, I have bought from various sellers of these, and these look nice on pictures, but are mostly crappy quality, I guess they are copy of some other good ones?

I just got something from evilbay: 100 piece/26 Euro. Since they are not cheap, I hope they are not made in chinesium.
I'll let you know when they arrive.
Also arrived here! Many thanks!
Opened my package just now (it arrived yesterday), looks good, thanks zucca!

Also got my package yesterday, in Oslo, Norway

https://www.ebay.de/itm/352024259067Not cheap but I am happy with the quality: spring loaded lid and nice "lego connection".
with proper SMD containers:
The black esd proof ones are good but expensive, do you have a cheap link for them?
The pink etc colored chinese ones I hate since they have a plastick clip/lock, very uncomfortable.
The lid needs a spring I don't like a lock, already tear one nail on them.
Cool, did these ones actually have the wen tai mark on them?, and printing on the back of the containers?

Not interested in ESD since they are just R.
I have my tweezer in my hand, pull down a little the clip/lock with the tweezer tip, lid pops up, grab the component, place it and close the lid later.
No nail damages for me, I am happy.
