I was thinking of adding a BNC kit to my DS1000Z order, and I noticed it comes with a "Feed-Through" 50-ohm terminator.
http://www.tequipment.net/Cal-Test/CT4042/?OrderItemId=569664Is this the same thing as just a regular 50-ohm terminator? Does the feed-through just pass through what would be reflected? Not sure what the difference is, and there doesn't appear to be any such verbage on the Wikipedia for BNC.
its the same electrically, as using a "T" to attach a non feed through terminator to the circuit.
some oscopes have a switch to engage an internal 50 ohm terminator.

Electrically the same, but will have better performance at higher frequencies. Useful when you need to properly terminate a coaxial line to 50ohms, and still want to inject the signal into the high impedance input of a scope, frequency counter, etc.
