Hidden deep down in the mountain of Tenma PSU boxes I found something actually quite nice...
GWInstek GPD-4303S - 4 channel (2 x 0-30V 3A, 1 x 0-5V 1A and 1 x 0-5V 3A or 5-10V 1A). All outputs are settable to 1mV/1mA resolution, the 30V channels can be switched between serial/parallel/independent with tracking in series. Good solid linear design with a smart fan so they don't sound like jets taking off.
http://uk.farnell.com/gw-instek/gpd-4303s/power-supply-4ch-30v-3a-prog/dp/2460232It's a new unit direct from GW, supplied as a replacement for a unit that had a fault with channel 4.
Lovely quiet compact little thing, tempted to keep this but I'll never use it so it's got to find a better home...
List price £442+VAT, start this one at £250 plus shipping (£10 UK, £20 sensible EU countries, anywhere else please ask).
SOLD
For toploser. Item was shipped quickly, exactly as described and very well packed.
Rolo lots pf people are hating you... please do a teardown to calm them down
Fair enough, I will post some pictures of the inside of the unit and share some experiances working with it. But I have lots of things asking my attention right now so have some patience. Until then, don't shoot the buyer
(have missed out on previous sales from toploser, waited to long to decide)
Edit : While your'e waiting, I found this youtube clip about the 3 channel model from this series :
The four channel model has a regulated channel 3, not stepped/fixed by a selector switch. So I expect it to be different hardware. I will test this on my unit and report it in a seperate post in the measurement and equipment section.
