The ‘post a picture of a cat’ thread has recently had a bit of a revival.
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/post-a-picture-of-a-cat!/I did a quick search and could not find a similar thread for the dog lovers among us… So here goes.
(I am a cat lover too and have posted in the above thread.)
Post a picture of your dog(s).
Bonus points for names and why they were named this way.
Below, black spot bitch is called Xerox.
Xerox Corporation were the first company to produce a commercially available and affordable mono photocopier machine. This Dalmatian was the first white and black dog that my wife and I have ever owned. (First Dalmatian.)
Below, liver spot dog is called Ubix.
Ubix Corporation were the first company to produce a commercially available and affordable colour photocopier machine…
Your turn…
Absolutely gorgeous dogs! Thanks for sharing.
Camo bed ? or stealth skinned dog ?
Named Boomer, a hyper active yet very friendly & loving 15 years old German Spitz.

Yes, definitely fried chicken.
Yours?
I used to have a standard poodle. Amazing dogs. Smart, but can be really cheeky (and they know it). These days I live on property (with no fences) and I spend most daylight hours at work. I'd love a dog but it would be cruel to keep it locked up inside on its own. Besides my better half is enough work as it is. ;-)
This was my golden retriever, lived till 14, so intelligent!

Beautiful dog MasterTech...
Name?
Here's Madison:
Being a dog in Minnesota does have a few inconveniences. That's how I felt for most of the time I lived in there.
John
Her name was Ula, named after an abandoned dog we had with the same name.
I did hike a lot with her around the country, and a curious fact, every time I did bivouac she wouldn't sleep, she stayed up guarding the area . She would snarl and bark if she heard something suspicious, and I'm talking the middle of forests with no one around.
The first picture is Mollie, she is a German/Australian Sheppard mix who will be 8 years old in October. The second picture is her at a year old. The third picture is Reese, a 3 year old red nosed Doberman mix. Mollie got her name from the granddaughter who loved watching bubble guppies at the time. Reese got his name because his coloring reminds one of peanut butter and he has a ring around his mouth that makes him look like he got into the peanut butter jar.
Morgan. He will be nine in December.
Dogs, you say? Why of course!
The black one is Harley, aka Mr Bighead, the fawn one is Trixie, aka the vacuum cleaner because if i fits in her mouth, she eats it.
Sometimes you have to look at life like a dog. If you can't eat or hump it, piss on it and walk away.
Wonderful!
I will have to use that elsewhere.
I like the cat's motto better: if you can't own it then piss on it and walk away.
My dog Elowa ...
She is beautiful
Thanks. She came from the pound at about 4 months old (she's 12 now). We were told she's a "malamute mix" but were never sure. Did genetic test last year and she's Great Pyrenees, Malamute, Akita, Samoyed, and Rotweiler!

Yeah, I like that.
Bark less, wag more... is less cynical
Mum is a staffy bulldog cross and she's just had 9 puppies.
Perhaps we should change this to "Post a picture of a dog!" so that it will have a chance of catching up to the cat thread?
One dog's adventure and why it's good to "adopt, don't shop":
This is our beloved Trixi "von Vierhundert Hertz", born 2011-08-03. Her creator is/was an EE with Lufthansa.
