ONCE and ONCE ONLY
Since Keysight is still ignoring the Netherlands - I'm in!
It's my second post, but I watching Dave's videos and visiting forums about 5 years. I will try my fortune. I definitely need scope for my HW power electronics projects, active balancing BMS one of them at the moment. Good luck to all!
Hi Dave. Remember me? I suggested the "reply" button on every post.
Anyway, I'm a self-taught tinkerer, working on a camper van with an auxiliary power system (solar+batteries+inverter). I'm going to have a digital monitoring system with various sensors and touchscreens to graph data. There will also be a CAN bus interface to tap into vehicle telemetry. I am documenting all my findings, to share with others on the internet in the open source spirit. I've been using an ancient single channel CRO. I could really use a more modern scope with better bandwidth, another channel and some digital functions, but it's currently out of my reach. Please consider me in your giveaway. Cheers.
Just one post! I want to test and characterize a new-ish type of differential probe I am developing right now. I might tell you a secret or two about it

Jeesh, Look at all the pages to read through
(poor Dave)
I know, I'm currently (maybe by this time when this post gets noticed) under 50 posts for sure, but that's because I tend to make long posts
.
Anyway, I'm finishing my masters, and I Want to get my project done! I'm working on a Bio-Impedance measurement frontend
(interesting stuff actually). That's my first time I've seriously tackled analog electronics.
(usually doing PCB design of digital circuitry).I would love to validate and modify my project from home, rather than hassling around different buildings in the university
(time consuming) and having my own oscilloscope at home would help me a lot to finally finish this frikin project... aaand effectively experiment with other ideas.
enough of sobbing, gonna go and check out Wave18. (Aaah, Estonia is Not in the list! Crap
)
must... assemble.... my.... home... lab. And oscilloscope is one of the hardest things to acquire.
I love Keysight - yep I said it!
I like scopes, sadly no sobbing about them
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Please wobulate me.
(Current project is Altera FPGA expansion board for vintage Arcade game preservation)
Maybe I can retire my old Hitachi V-422.
Hi Dave,
I would not mind one of these little scopes I must admit !
My most recent scope is a Tektronix CRO from 1991 , I would not mind a newer generation scope, but only if it's a decent/worthwhile one, and those modern Keysight scopes certainly are pretty nice
My sob story is that I don't (yet) have a digital scope.
Definitely interested and would have a use please
I'd like to enter into the Dave's pick drawing! Maybe I'm not the best candidate as I'll soon be done with my master's degree and hopefully will have money to buy a nice scope in not too long, but I would surely appreciate having that DSOX1102G scope to accelerate my hobby. Also, Dave, to use an ANA/VNA (Network analyzer) you have to have a cal kit. If not, you wouldn't know if your measurements are mumbo jumbo or not.
time to replace all the one-hung-low toys here with something working all the time, so take me in
I don't know that my half-dozen posts could be considered "spectacularly valuable", but I've certainly been lurking around this forum longer than I've been active here. Since value is a relative concept, I'll gingerly toss my hat into the prospective ring as well-- a slightly used 100MHz oscilloscope would be very useful around here.
