I'm seeking a PCB designer to help with a brand new project to convert a voltage signal coming from a sensor into a proportional 4-20ma output.
The PCB will be used in an industrial application.
The candidate should have knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power protection of the circuit, voltage step down and ideally have worked with integrating sensors in the past.

If you are just trying to harvest CVs, try a little harder.
Sometimes you need thousands of the part. Or you need it in a different form factor. Or you need it certified for something that the original part isn't. There are dozens of reasons why someone would design the same project twice.
Agreed. I've made a good living out of relatively uncomplicated sensor products which are nevertheless designed to be fit for a specific purpose - physically robust, wide temperature range, appropriate connectors and pinout etc.
This is a job I'd happily take on normally, but right now I'm afraid I'm far too busy with other projects - sorry.

Agreed. Off-the-shelve products rarely match all the requirements. Especially when you need reliability and a stable source for 10 years.
