i've been searching for quite some time for the datasheet for an optocoupler i have here, the markings are:
L 0625
817A
Y
i've searched 0625, L0625, 817, 817A, 817Y, nothing...
any ideas?
do you know the origin the the dvice it is in.
For example i have a medical device mad in Russia many years ago, It had some weird named DIP14 chips in it that turned out to be the russian version of the 7400
Yes the Russians copied many ICs from the US, including those used in some electronic games which amusingly exhibited the same bugs.
Do you have a picture of the PCB or a schematic?
Bored takes the jackpot!, i found a similar device datasheet but wasn't convinced, so yeah... run-of-the-mill optocoupler...
i wish i had an schematic!, it's from a Dell AC brick(which incidentally i have opened in another thread) that's misbehaving and i have no idea why
It's there to provide an isolated feedback path from the secondary to primary side and is unlikely to have failed so check out the other components before replacing it.
