Based what I see in the datasheet
PRS14R-2xxxx-xxxxx have vertical pins and the photo is wrong. In the photo I see PRS14R-4xxxx-xxxxx from datasheet.

OK, I see the 4 horizontal/vertical diagrams above the How to Order panel that indicate that the photo is a vertical type, which should be PRS14R-2xxx-xxxx, the photo is right?
Look in "Product dimensions" not "Shaft & Bushing Dimensions". It is previous page. But I must say I was also confused at the first look
Edit: in "Shaft & Bushing Dimensions" are pins clearly horizontal in "vertical" column

Ah, now I get it. One style they are saying has a vertical bush yet horizontal pins, the other has a horizontal bush yet vertical pins.
So there is no overall definition that a part is "Vertical" or "Horizontal" then, it depends what bits you are referring too.
That's just f**king great.
Thanks for clearing that up!
