Hello all,
My first EEV forum post, I was jus about to purchase a brymen BM235 multimeter when i stumbled across a forum post mentioning an eev blog member discount.
As a broke student i very much appreciate any saving.
Thanks in advance!
How much are you looking to pay and where are you? I am the UK/Europe reseller for Dave.
Hello, sorry for the confusing post, Im actually just looking to buy the generic 235 as I can’t justify the EEV blog, although it is tempting.
Cheers,
Eldon
and im in scotland in the UK
Hi Eldon,
Email Marco Wünschmann at info@welectron.com before ordering - I'm sure he'll sort you out with a discount.
I've used both "Marco Reps", and "EEVBlog" in the past to get a 5% discount. They also offer an additional 2% for up front cash payment, and free postage on orders over €500 (probably a little more than you want to spend right now though).
I have sorted Eldon out for the same price (as a one off) and he get the classy EEVBlog look into the bargain.
Hi folks
Just a quick update in case anyone is interested: Having just bought a BM869s from Welectron, I can confirm that bmdaly's info is still correct and they offer free postage in the EU and Switzerland. I paid €175 (excl VAT) less 5% EEVblog discount after emailing and asking Marco Wünschmann. Delivery was 4 working days. I thought I had managed to avoid paying Swiss import duty and VAT, but unfortunately today I got a bill from DHL for this for CHF36. Still a good buy though.
Haven't yet used the meter much but so far no problems and everything seems to work.
I also had a minor administrative issue (my fault) which the Welectron guys sorted quickly and without fuss.
