Hi!
The RSS feed for the amp hour podcast is shitty: only the latest 20 episodes are available. Most podcast apps only read what's on the feed (to respect content creators' rights or something) (e.g. podcast Republic, pocket cast, podcast addict) To get (some of) the older ones I had to uninstall iVoox.
Apparently you can set up your RSS feed so that it remains lightweight (only the 20 latest episodes) and link to the older episodes (through some sort of pagination).
Here is a discussion on the subject with input from podcast addict devs:

That's half a year worth of podcasts, that's how RSS is supposed to work. Otherwise it becomes a burden when all those RSS clients download the list every 15 minutes. It can actually generate more traffic than MP3 files themselves.
A lot of the RSS feeds i subscribe to only list recent, you want the rest, go to the website and scrape them from there. Most sites ( aside from some who only have the last X available, as if storage space was expensive like it was in 1970) will have them all, from episode zero till current.
will have them all, from episode zero till current.
Can you show example of such a feed fro a show that has been out there for more than a year?
It is not about storage space, it is about bandwidth. Remember, that XML will be fetched every 15 minutes by every subscriber.
