What kills me is that Twitter and Facebook are, essentially, the same. Both allow one to "broadcast" pictures, messages, etc. to a group of people. (Called "followers" or "friends") I don't see how someone could believe one is "crap" and the other is not when they are so similar.

The thing is that Facebook is in the business of collecting and selling your personal information. The data that Twitter collects is minimal by comparison.
I cant play music for peanut's, but I bought a Roland EXR-5 keyboard
just so I have more knobs to turn and buttons to press in the lab.

I avoid Facebook because it's full of people I can't stand. Facebook seems to be much more about social obligations to be "friends" with your irritating relatives and half-friends who tell you all about the adorable things their children did. So, nothing about it on ethical grounds from me, I just don't see the allure. I imagine I'm not the only one who just doesn't get why he'd want to use it.
On the other hand, there are some amusing people on Twitter. Some annoying ones too, but it doesn't seem so much to bring out the annoying in everyone.

I only joined this forum after seeing a few of Dave's videos expecting that it would
be community of people with a similar somewhat disturbed sense of humour.
Satirical, entertaining analogies, shit stirring without offence, and all that stuff.
Was rather disappointed when this particular thread got destroyed by others
pointing out their views on social media, I dont subscribe to these medium's
and I made that pefectly clear in my first post which by the way was the only
one that got adopted by the linked FB page, was it stolen without the authors
permission, possibly, but I dont give a rat's, as long as someone get's a laugh.
My rant is over, but this thread will survive for another day, please keep it going.

Not everyone uses those medium's, some of us despise them in fact.
Anyway the funny bit below.

Claimed it on tax as a tone generator.

@Muttley -
I checked as many pics as I could stand to view - and didn't see a single one of Muttley's Knickers...?!
