Win a slightly used Keysight DSOX1102G 100MHz 4CH scope with function generator!
Post ONCE and ONCE ONLY in this forum thread to enter.
Seriously, ONCE ONLY, or I'll delete your entry.
Entries close mid march-ish
You MUST be a valuable contributor to the forum to enter, say 50 post or something minimum, or maybe half dozen spectacularly valuable posts, to be decided at Dave's discretion in a future live draw video.
One person will be picked randomly using the Wobulator program, and another will be Dave's pick based on your sob story of why you need the scope, or any other criteria Dave picks. No correspondence will be entered into.
You may be responsible for import taxes and charges based on you country and any stupid local import laws you might have. If you don't like this, don't enter.
Do NOT post or comment in this thread if you are not entering, I'll have another thread for discussion here:
A zero-sob-story entry because I don't cry, I get even
Oke, I'll post "Once and once only" in this thread [emoji6].
ONCE ONLY.
My sob story is that I am jealous of your EDC standard, so I went to search for one. I found a Valhalla 2701C-LNF "for repair" on fleabay instead.
Schematics for the 2701C exist, but not for the "low noise floor" variant (manufacture is still around but doesn't have schematics for LNF either). Since I'm a complete noob, repairing this is a continuing effort....
More change spent in parts than I care to admit later and I'm no closer to a working DC standard and just reminded that I'm jealous of your lab.
So... share some of your lab with this noob!

4 Channels? Tricky..... :-)
Short and misplld from my mobile......
In like...well, you know.
Sorry, no sob story.
I'd hope to put it against a Siglent for some fun, shits and giggles.
Just hope it really has 4 channels not 2 like in the image !
If not, sorry not interested !
Count me in Dave, I would like another scope for my channel, always good to have alternatives to use for situations when one scope isnt enough, its for the YouTube public good.
For a sob story, how about my entire house, garage etc being flooded by sea water in a storm on 5th January, you can see this on my YT channel, 2 months later the house hasn’t been touched yet, it’s uninhabitable, waiting for insurance to be happy with a builder quote.
AND to top it off a few weeks ago (whilst we are living in a garage which is still damaged), my wife broke her ankle, and has to hobble around on crutches on gravel and in the garage, where whatever was salvageable after the flood is crammed in, leaving little room to move about.
In spite of this rather hectic time, I am still making videos for my YT channel, not as many as I was prior to the flood, but I’m still managing a couple a week.
Really the flood was a bit of a ying and yang balance, I had the high from you featuring me in your guest videos, followed within days by the massive low of having my house flooded and losing 3/4 of our belongings.

Go ahead and count me in. My dad has been looking for a scope for a while and after trying the cheapy ones he just couldn't get passed the sluggishness.
It would be nice to win this one.
I'd like to put my name in the hat. The Keysight scope would be a good partner for my trusty old Kenwood CS-4125 Analog Scope. She's getting a bit dim these days.
I am happy to see this again this year. I am working on a new design for the USB Tester and the OLED backpack which provides a display for voltage and current without needing your own DMM and can data log. I have been a big fan of EEVBlog and learned so much from Dave over the years. This giveaway would be the missing piece to my workbench. Even though I am self thought I was able to learn enough to design a product that I sell on Tindie. This includes learning best practices and such. You can really learn a lot of Dave's teardowns!.
Thanks again for another year and my the odds ever be in your favor.
Unfortunately, I've always been more of a lurker. But you can see my account has been around for awhile. Your videos helped unwind after a lot of finals. Just finished my Computer Engineering degree 3 months ago and this would make an awesome addition to my home workbench since I don't have school equipment anymore.
Second year of trying getting this poppy
, maybe now
ONCE. This scope will very much assist with my plans for world domination.
I am not warm and fuzzy, but this scope could make me become like that, for at least a few days
))
Well, even for the 25%-odd VAT / customs tax i'd have to pay (assuming i won - yeah, right!
), one of these lil' babies would be a steal
I just bought a cheap dso shell, and it failed after a day! I was just posting this video on youtube in order to describe failure, and Dave's new post showed up. Gosh, I could use some luck here.

Wouldn't mind giving this one a try.
Hi Dave, I'm a year 11 student who wants to get into oscillator and audio amplifier circuits but most of the time I find myself stuck not knowing what's going on. Since I've never owned a scope, this would be very valuable.
