A decent scope would be great to get for me, trying to start out but I really don't have the money right now for even a starter scope and I'm not seeing much second hand analogue scopes on ebay at the moment
?
No sob story here, just hoping the Wobulator Wobulates me!
I'm an student in electronic engeneering and I'd really like to have such oscilloscope ! This one will be my first one
Greetings from France !
Dave, I'm trying to get a head start in the engineering world. I have always heard, "You will always fail if you don't try." Here's my shot.
My nephew is turning 18 and I am thinking and thinking about what gift I can present him. I had no idea..... but now I have - should I win, it is his! This would be exactly what he needs right now.
If I win this, I will give it to Sagan.
So Dave, you will have to make me that lucky guy !
Nice little scope. Awesome of you to do a giveaway.
Oh men i need the scope..
Hi Dave,
Im 21 from Melb, About 3 to 4 years ago I started watching your videos which inspired me to get into electronics. I have leant a huge amount since then, It has been great fun! This forum has been an amazing resource. I now have a humble electronics work bench and would love the edition of this great bit of kit.
Thanks
Blissy
No real sob story here but I'd like to expand my lab setup and a decent scope would go a long way, particularly with the built in function gen.
Sure would be great to work with equipment that goes into sub-GHz range, I like to make all sorts of sensors I collect data from
I'm about to launch a kickstarter campaign for a device that will extract more energy (like, 800%) from existing solar roadways and send the excess using ultrasonic beams, through the Cloud, to charge a cymbal-playing monkey doll. It will also have WiFi and squeeze juice.
Everything's almost set, but I need a scope to test the voltage on the motor in the monkey. So... fingers crossed!
I'm in.
Would be nice to replace that old Tek CRO on my secondary workbench.
One ping only please, Vassily. Oops, wrong movie. I should go rewatch Back to the Future for more appropriate quotes
No sad story justifying wanting one though, sorry. I'm celebrating my half century mark by starting a pro bachelor electronics + ict this fall, if it gets approved, and they'll probably have good connections to Keysight or other manufacturers to get a good deal for students anyway. At least I hope so, but in case not this is a backup! Save me some money to buy beers, err parts for project tasks
The taxes will make me sob
No real stories
She'll be alright (and make me happy to donate my old CRO to someone else too!).
The last time I used an Osciliscope was 4 years ago when I was studying electronics in Uni
Now after graduation, I am still unemployed and didn't touch a scope since, well except for the cheap tiny DIY one I bought from Aliexpress
If I win this one it will be really helpful
