I'd love a scope! Never had a real scope (built a DSO138 kit once). I'd use it for hobby audio projects (synth building) and fun, but also to start experimenting with digital stuff. Also might get inspired to work on more calculators. Thanks!
Keep up the awesome work Dave! Regular viewer here from Canada and always learning from you and the other amazing members on this forum! Cheers!
Throw my name in the pot... would love to have that scope, but good luck to everyone!
I'm an ee student and would love that scope like my own child. Someone might make better use of such a nice scope, but it would be a huge step up from grandpa's old automotive multimeter.
I'm not sure if I count as valuable, but I do have fifty meaningful posts and some optimism -- worst I can do is not get it.
I'm trying to build a mass spectrometer, so a modem DSO with math capability would be extremely useful.
I'm in.
Hi Dave. I would like to be part of the competition.
Thanks Timothy

335 posts and counting, you're a real trooper for reading them all. God bless ya!
My sob story entry:
I started college in 1994 for a Associates degree in electronics(AS EET). I have Narcolepsy(its not exactly like it is in the movies but still sucks balls) so it took a very very long time. Medical advances finally made life manageable enough to let me finish in 2015.(No one appreciates the theme song to Star Trek: Enterprise more than me, lol) Anyhow, I'm still in school, this time learning 3D printing and design. I hope to wrap it all up and make gadgets or something, maybe even a cubesat. I imagine myself maybe teaching to make ends meet, hopefully soon. I really need a modern oscilloscope to make a go at a side bushiness I'm trying to get going repairing electronics. I'm really doing the best I can, I don't have as may hours in the day as most people and worse the hours are rarely consecutive. This scope is just the kind of "ray of sunshine" I could use these days, although "stuffs getting better, stuffs getting better all the time". I saw several good sob stories, I don't envy you you will have a tough choice on your hands.
Cheers!
J
Isn't SOB story to live in a PITA country with restrictive import taxation making it next to impossible to buy anything off ebay and the like for the little money you ppl do without having to spend a fortune? Second hand 10yo scopes cost as much as new ones elsewhere! I promise to behave if i win!
Time to get a real lab going. This scope will be at the geometric center.
Sir, i'm an electronic designer wannabee that mainly spends time workin for the company and raising cattle. I started my lab in the garage a few months back and started watching your vids to get good info on scopes and waduknow your giving one away! Winnig this would be one heck of a kickstart for me. And trust me i know how to use the scope so i got some serious business to do with the probe end of it!
.
Count me in, it looks pretty nice.
The freq. response option (20Hz-20MHz bode plot) would save time with audio designs.
Greetings from Bulgaria.
Let me also join the race.
Thank for organizing this.
My least informative post.
Can I join this giveaway event? I'm undergraduate student in Thailand. In my department, there are only 2-3 digital oscilloscopes. All of them are used in graduate program and advance lab. Thus, I can access only old analog oscilloscopes for my senior project. A digital oscilloscopes will help me develop my schematic and understand what is going on in easier ways. If I meet your giveaway criteria, please consider me one of your surplus digital oscilloscopes.
Many thanks for considering my request.
My 50th and probably least valuable post, but I'd like the scope
Ok maybe I will be struck by lightning. or win something to play with .
It's OK to send just channels 1 and 2 to the winner.
My one chance to win!!!! Thanks Dave!
