Dear EEVBloggers, I am happy to announce the completion of version 1.0.17.5 of PCBSynergy.
The latest Update has a new file reader for Kicad V3 file format kicad_pcb.
Also the previous 1.0.17.2 update Eagle XML BRD reading was added.
PCBSynergy is an Offline Programming Tool for various Surface Mount Machines and a Bill of Materials(BOM) generator.
It works with the Altium/Protel family of CAD formats, as well as Cadstar, Eagle,GenCAD, Kicad, Orcad, PADS and Excel PCBCSV files which are
exported from other PCB CAD programs.
It generates files for over 80 different SMT machines from 11 manufacturers.
Unlike competing software products it takes about 5 minutes or less to generate a new file for a first time SMT machine user.
Being currently free it is a good choice to practice on a newly acquired older machine.

Neato, is there a list somewhere of supported machines?
Hello Sarson,
I was wondering- is there any way you could share the JUKI KE2070 file format with me?
Wow it's cool to see that PCB Synergy is still being maintained! I'm looking to begin using it very soon.
Links on site are broken. I've tried twice over the past week. Is this still being maintained? or is this just a web hosting hiccup? any mirrors?
The first two links are broken, but earlier in the page it says "Version 1.0.17.6 Beta available for download" in big letters, and that version does download from its link.
I emailed the OP yesterday and got a response, so it appears to be possibly just a hosting issue, hopefully we get an update soon as I am also keen to give it a whizz.
The new version has been updated.
The Tango release is 1.0.17.7which needs the Tango jpg added to the manufacturers resource file
I wasn't expecting it to be so difficult to use an icon drawing Tool, then my life got in the way for the last 2 weeks.
If any of the other links are causing trouble let me know. I am also working on a binary
reader for Altium but have yet to finish it.
regards sarason
Interesting
PiHole blocks the domain and says it is spam, PiHole is a DNS blocker, I can't remember where the list is from but it was a simple ad/spam list from one of the recommended ones.
Disabling PiHole does not have any effect here, still can't download.
I still get a 404 from the hosting site.
I was getting a DNS error when just going to the site before with PiHole, not tried downloading.
