Hello, I have an offline controller for a CNC3018 Arduino Woodpecker Board, shown in pictures (source internet)
Buy playing with the firmware, I managed to brick it
Unfortunately my backup of the original firmware is lost
Does anybody has this firmware or wants to read it out
It is a STM32F103RBT6 MCU on board and can be read with STLlink v2 with the SW connections
the order is +5V, SDClck, SDIO, GND, and setting is slow speed 480khz
Tnx 4 help
JP
It is a STM32F103RBT6
No it is not.
It is an APM32F103RBT6
The APM is mostly compatible with the STM but there are differences.
A quick search for "arduino woodpecker" gives lots of results relating to GRBL and apparently there are some versions of GRBL floating around that work for that hardware.
Tnx DP, for answer, but does it help me ?
off course not... just corrections...
What I need is firmware and some helpfull tips or someone can read it , with an SWD programmer
And look at the attached picture.. what shoud it be ?
it is the old version from 2018 and not the new
Tnx for any helpfull messages.
HI Guy.
I have this board and luckily I also had a stlink.
I therefore made a backup (stock unmodified) for you with the software. please excuse me but it is without guarantee because I had never used such software.
I just came across your message and wanted to help you.
I hope it's not too late. My offline board was delivered with the CNC3018 PRO (ALIEXPRESS with the JLF001 motherboard) it had GRBL0.9j (having updated to GRBL 1.1F, the controller no longer works with it for some unknown reason) if you must also have the JLF001 dump file with GRBL0.9j, leave me a message, I have already performed the dumps.
Sorry english translated i am swiss speaking french. To the pleasure. If the file is not correct. tell me how to do it right.
Mickynuts
Tnx Micky
Will test it..
(english auto)
Hello, I think it's good. I made a backup again. I'm sorry, I don't know that kind of stuff at all. And the size is unknown detected in the software. Groping, I succeeded normally.
If that's not it. Can you give me the address (size) to save? I used the Stllink utility. But apart from reading and save, there is nothing else. I saved the address size 0x20000 (if I'm not mistaken) which gives 128kb. As indicated, this is the first time I've done this kind of thing and I really don't know much about it.
Hi Mick, when I load I only see this...( see picture ) for whole the file.. so it is not useable
I think there was a mistake
i have partial file, form original and look likes this
Can you save as .hex file ?
JP
Hello, I tried. But I understand what is going on. Once in several. The programmer does not detect the contents of the memory. It sees the microcontroller but not the size of the memory. And sometimes I have 460kb detected but if I try to save. The program closes. If you pay the shipping costs. I will gladly send it to you. I don't need it anymore because it doesn't work with grbl 1.1.
I think it's my St-link (clone) that doesn't work well. Because the controller works. I don't have another programmer of this type. So I couldn't go any further. Do you want me to send it to you?
Sorry I can't help you more with this. Maybe you can ask the seller to send you a firmware backup. Or I can write to him if you want (to the one I bought from).
Tnx Micky, what should it cost to sent it ? to Belgium
Switzerland is not EU, so expensive probably, except when you are close to France.. offcourse
if you sent only the print in some small carton, It would a be a sort of postcard price probably
Let me know, tnx
JP
Hello. Between 4 and 9eur (depends on the weight final)-100grs 4eur -250grs 9eur. 14eur with tracking for 250grs.
I recommend tracking. New Board on aliexpress is mini 13eur with 2eur shipping. I can tell you precisely the price when I am at home with the card and packaging in front of me. By paying weighed.
I only need the PCB, no plastic, screws etc.. so it can go in normal letter..
if package i will import tax and VAT etc... so it is more expensive than ALI
Just normal letter, if possible
Tnx
Only pcb no plastique with Air enveloppe is about 30grs. Then the rate will be 4eur or just below (maybe the post office at less than 50grs) I don't know. Can you send me your address by private message? (surname, first name, address, postal code).
Hi MickyNuts,
I see that you have updated your JLF001 board to GRBL 1.1F.
Would you please share how you did that? maybe link to the guide you used?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply.
It is the machine I am refering to and thanks for the link.
Actually I have already been on this page but it didnt work at the first try.. but than after your reply I gave it another try and made it work as simply as just setting the baudrate to 115200 instead of 57600.
