I just wanted to point out that some locals are trying to sell parts at 0.75USD and pay themselves less than 0.25 USD - easy money.
Frankly, I don't think that's the case at all, or technix's intention. I am not surprised that the factory would charge a higher factory gate price to supply parts to a 'member of the public' and charge a handling fee for such low volumes.
It's not as it this does not happen in real life, right?
Flinstone, I don't think it is wrong of you to source parts locally - good for you. However, others will not have the same resources to pursue this avenue directly.
Late last year I received 20 2DW233 parts from technix and I can't thank him enough for his willingness to do this.

...I can source those parts directly from the factory at 75 US cents each, and each order up to about 1500-2000 pieces will cost 5 US dollars to post through air mail. The factory also set a minimum aggregated order amount of 100 before they would waiver the $5 handling fee....
Just to clarify what we should send via PayPal. Do we just multiply the order quantity by $0.75 US by the quantity?

$0.75 * part count + $5. The $5 goes to the post office.

10 2DW232 USA
10 2DW233 USA
I don't see the price listed anywhere, but I assume these are super cheap.
I'm a little confused what the other ones are (the 2DW23x where x = 4,5,6...).
PM sent

20 2DW232 USAFor previous poster:

operating current, see other thread
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/metrology/ultra-low-noise-reference-2dw232-2dw233-2dw23x/Found the important bit for you:
The type number(2DW232, 2DW233) indicating different nominal zener current for this zero-TC point. For instance, the zero-TC current of 2DW232 is 5mA, the zero-TC current of 2DW233 is 7.5mA, the zero-TC current of 2DW234 is 10mA, and so on.
But in reality, there is not much difference. A device of any type may show zero-TC current at any value ranging from 4mA to 20mA, therefore, there is need to test every device for it's zero-TC current. It does take some digging I'm afraid.
Anyway, PM sent, for my order. Thanks!!

Thanks. My order arrived.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about with regard to the pinout... For the 2DW233, I'm finding that the common cathode is the pin connected to the case, and the others are the two anodes. Vz of each of the individual diodes is around 5.36V and the pair in series (i.e. between the two non-case pins) is about 6.17V.
But is each of the diodes exposed to the outside a TC zener reference, or is the pair used in series the TC reference?

For folks on the outstanding order list please check if you have paid me or not. I will cut off the list next week, and any unpaid orders will have to wait again.

First batch of order is arriving, and I am looking forward to test results. There are still a few buyers not paying me (and thus delaying the second batch) but I am going to cut those orders off soon.
