Okey, Hello folks and folkettes
Ive got a question, im planning on buying a oscilliscope,
originally i was going to go for a 4 channel but they are a tad too expencive for me.
so currently im debating between:

I would buy the
GW Instek
, because it has knob for each channel. But yes, it's firmware is not much feature-rich.
Read user manuals of both scopes and find out, what you prefer.

Thanks for the reply, il wait for a few more opinions, but right now i think i will end up with the GWInstek, i know Dave uses a one of their 'Scopes

Have a look over in the test equipment section of the forum. There's many many threads discussing low end scopes going at the moment. There's a lot more options than just these two in that price range.
BTW that price for the rigol is about %50 higher than what the current price in Oz is through a bricks and mortar store. You shouldn't be paying much more than what's on the rigol website you linked to ($399USD)

If you've watched a few of his videos, you'd see he uses several manufactures scopes (I guess not to be biased.)

That was the rigol uk site, the price was without tax..... oh well, il probibly go with the GWInstek
