Hi, I see the scopemeter Fluke 123 is similar in hardware to Fluke 125, is possible unlock the Fluke 125 features in a Fluke 123? if is possible I can pay for it, Regards.
Hi,
Not sure the hardware is the same: my 123 from 1998 and my 125 from 2008 don't have the same ADC, at least.
Michel.
sorenkir: There have been at least 2 major hardware revisions of the Fluke 120 Industrial ScopeMeter series. My '15 123 looks virtually identical to your '08 125.
According to the Fluke 123/124 Service Manual the PCB is the same between both models (the 125 is not covered). So, in theory it should be possible to upgrade the 123 to at least the 124. I don't think it makes sense to do it for the extra bandwidth (it's only 25 MS/s so the 20/40 MHz spec is a stretch), but unlike the 124/125 the 123 does not have cursors. That would be a nice upgrade.
Yes, only I need the cursors and others upgrades, really I dont have interest in wideband because fluke scopemeters always coming limited in wideband, the 199c starts to atenuate from 60 MHz, the 199c can upgrade to 225c with bushealth feature, i assume the fluke 125 using same hardware and software than fluke 123, but 125 coming with full features
