Hi every one.
Since the DHO 4000 series operates on Android, it is plausible that a WiFi dongle could be used to connect to a network.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
Thank you all.
Check the DH0800 thread. I remember, they made it possible to have access to Android and they installed a driver for an USB Wifi dongle.
It's quite likely that this also works for the DHO4000 -- my DHO1000 certainly behaved the same.
A driver is pre-installed for one specific type of WiFi chip. The TP Link TL-WN725N is the USB dongle of choice. The WiFi network parameters are entered via the regular Android configuration UI, which is available by connecting a USB keyboard (before booting the scope) and pressing Windows-N. Remaining network setup via the scope's UI, as for wired LAN.
