Has anyone taken a look at this new line of electronic loads from ITECH?
https://www.itechate.com/en/product/dc-electronic-load/IT8500Gplus.htmlThe IT8500AG+ is interesting because it has USB load connectors on the front panel and supports USB PD, which seems like it would be handy for testing USB chargers. I haven't seen an electronic load with PD built in before.
I don't see any distributors for ITECH in the US, so I'm not sure how to actually get ahold of one of these.
It does look handy, but I don't see specifically what protocols are supported, just "8". If they end up charging a large premium then for hobby use you'd be better off making your own adapter board and buying a USB PD switcher module for ~$10.
Some prices of their older units here:
https://www.itechcanada.ca/products/dc-e-loads/I'll email them see if they have any info.
It says that it supports USB PD, which is good enough for me.
Let me know if you hear back regarding pricing. I contacted itech via their website but so far no reply.

They are available now, price for IT8512G+ is $982 CAD ($811 USD).
- 150V 30A 300W
- QC2.0, QC3.0, PE+, PE2.0+, USB PD2.0, USB, PD3.0, FCP, SCP
Seems very reasonable considering what kind of customers would use USB PD testing.
