HP 34401A, Keysight BenchVue, and averaging

I've started using the datalogging feature in Keysight Benchvue with my HP 34401A meter. Is there a way to average the last X measurements? I'm hoping on rolling this into a calibration routine but would like to view the voltage over time as well as an average of the last 10 measurements. Is this possible inside BenchVue or would I need to write my own script for this?

From within BenchVue you can set the Aperture to different PLC values.

If you have a certain amount of data that you want the average of, just export the data to Excel and then do the math on the spreadsheet

The 34401A has averaging built in (via the Min Max function), but this can't be used for BenchView.

BenchView does not offer any live math functions during data acquisition, and especially not a rolling average.

So you would have to write your own routine, that's quite simple in any language, and you have the additional advantage to use more than 6 digits from the A/D, for better convergence of the statistical functions.
