Full-time - Exeter (UK) Firmware Engineer

Hello,

My company is currently looking to fill a full-time role for a Firmware Engineer with experience in electronics being beneficial.
Company based in Exeter, UK.

Key skills:
•   Experience of a general electronics design environment and processes
•   Design and Development of Firmware using languages such as ‘C’ and RTOS
•   Experience in a range of technologies including analogue, digital, wireless and micro-controllers. These include
   Analogue to Digital measurement techniques
   Atmel AVR, STM Cortex M0, ARM micro-controllers, Renesas RX CPU.
   Communications such as RS485/RS232, CAN, Ethernet.
•   Methodical approach to problem solving.
•   Experienced in writing design documents such as specifications and test procedures.
•   Ability to Specify and write test scripts for ATE systems
•   Advantageous to have experience with LabView

Responsibilities:
•   To work as part of a team developing firmware and electronics for both companies own product range and customer specific products.
•   Provide a high level of customer service.
•   Maintain Company confidentiality & security.
•   Operate within Quality guidelines.

Tasks:
•   Engineering Development of firmware and technical documentation.
•   Technical Support for standard products for both internal and external requirements.
•   Change control.
•   Application support.
