Jak Electronics?
« on: July 14, 2021, 04:19:33 pm »
I'm guessing a lot of folks are in the same position we are - having to cast the net outside of Europe and the USA for components that used to be ex-stock everywhere last year, and are now on silly lead times.

We've managed to locate stock of one IC we need with Jak Electronics in Hong Kong

Any one here had a good or bad experience with this outfit?

They're just a trading platform/sourcing agent with a nice website, they don't hold any stock. No warranty whatsoever. Domiciled in a serviced office complex up in Mong Kok.

Broker or not, I've had good luck with them.

I've bought several thousand CSTCE oscillators and several thousand infineon H bridges.  Good communication and service.  Definitely not on my preferred vendor list but they seem to be a semi-reliable way to tap the Shenzhen supply markets from the web.
