These are lists of comercial entities, people, classes of goods etc.. Millions and millions of things. Say thank you to USA sanctions polices and export regimes and all other countries that do the same in reverse.

Fact they gave you due date is actually a hint. You got included in some category that starts being sanctioned from some date.
It can country + product + whatever related. Since there are millions and millions entities on these lists they started including categories with wildcards too..
Shitshow.
Just read again what Ataradov wrote. Basically same thing. He is in USA, I tell you from EU. Same import export regime.

I am sorry for your troubles and wish you could sort it out. But I don't think reasons are what you think they are. Take or leave it.

Maybe they are using AI to evaluate how profitable you are for them, and it decided to ban you.  This is not unheard, YouTube just popped this recommend video the other day:

AI is denying your healthcare (and it's getting worse)
Vanessa Wingårdh

In short, healthcare intentionally set an AI trained to DENY medical healthcare in order to maximize profits.  Doctors are punished by internal regulations in case they override the AI decision.  This is beyond dystopian already.  :horse:

This makes no sense at all. Most of their orders are not profitable, it is a marketing expense. And it would happen way more often if that was the case.

If you search for the wording in their response, it does not appear as is anywhere I can find. But related searches show people with email domain "yandex.ru" are getting similar (but not exact) rejections.

very strange right? i mean, why would they COMPLETE all my existing orders if i was doing anything illegal for the next 2 months?

I only realised when i wrote about it here that their number 1 thing on the email is that they will suspend my account but they will complete any existing orders first..
makes no sense at all..

People were sent to forced labor camp by the soviets because they made a clerical error.
It's not uncommon to get on some watchlist by accident.

Maybe some part of the current christian crackdown.

Your name is almost Jesus Christ

But what ever the reason I can assure you it is nothing about you not being profitable and them wanting to scam you or rip you off.

You where never profitable.  Your total orders and your current inventory is not even a rounding error.

Yes, they can. This is the nature of doing business with foreign entities.

Order locally and you will have an entity to sue for contract violation.

As to the question of how rare it is, I can't find a single other report of this happening, so apparently quite rare.

But man my name isn't James or John or whatever. its just a strange firstname lastname. cant be on aaaany list.

I think they realised they dont make money out of my last orders anymore especially becauses i manually decreased stencil's size and did not do any assemply to them..

you don't know if you are on a list, maybe you are not but you, or some error, somehow triggered something.

you must be crazy if you think a company of that size will go through that hassle just because you order something cheaper, if that was it they would just increase your price

nothing changes after 13 december..its just today + 2 months. so more chances to be just their procedure..

dont look at the reason, look at what they did.
decided to:
suspend my account for policy violation
but will complete existing orders which is contradictory to policy violation
and not willing to refund me the inventory..

thats the reason of the post..not our guesses of WHY they did it..
look at the forest , stop staring at my finger pointing to the forest

Maybe write them back, and kindly ask them what compliance policy is your account breaking.  Ask them if there is anything you can do from your side to restore the compliance status, and what is the risk that was detected for your account.

Story is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PCB/comments/1d37su8/jlcpcb_denied_pcba_service_because_im_associated/
Though it was clear why it happened in that case, former address was Russia.

Maybe name search here: https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/

First of all, nobody here is happy about your problems. We get that you should be RIGHTFULLY pissed off.

People are attempting to explain possible causes. Calling them names, just because you don’t agree with them, is fully unwarranted.
