If you are just looking for some wires of set lengths that have JST pins for specific connectors at each end, Digikey sell them. They are terminated in the JST factory & are very reliable. They come in 2" & 6" lengths from memory.
You can find them in stock from US vendors, if that's what you're asking. But odds are they bought them from China, if that's actually what matters to you.
JST connectors are commonly found at RC hobby stores/websites.
What do I search digikey for? I just see the housings and pins to assemble but I dont see a complete assembly.
Thanks
There are many many types of JST connectors. Some are stocked by Sparkfun/Digikey/etc pre-crimped. Which series/pitch are you looking for?
digikey mouser element14 and so on
You could also have a look at
Dirty Cables if you want the whole assembly made for you.
Those will come from China (I think). (I can't tell if you're objecting to China or just observing that cables on Ebay come from China.)
I don't have anything against China... Just don't want to wait 3 weeks...
Thanks everyone.

If you order from Digikey today before the cut off time, you should have the wires with JST terminations in your hand tomorrow
Are there any other cable services like dirty pcbs?
There are two local contract manufacturers who will make cables, but neither one likes doing it and so says half-jokingly that they price accordingly. (I think those jokes are of the "haha, only serious" variety, but I've never asked them for a quote on anything specific as I tend to make my own cables for prototypes and I've not yet put anything into volume production where I couldn't make things by hand.)
Neither of them are online design like dirty. (It's "call for price", only worse.)

Not with online quoting AFAIK.
If qty is small it will be easiest to just do it youself. For more than a few hundred, invest in the proper JST tool - it's expensive but will pay for itself in saved time.
There are plenty of cable assembly subcontractors, but many won't be interested in a small run.
+1 on making the cables yourself. Buy a pair of good quality crimpers, such as
Engineer PA-09 and use CAT5 / CAT6 ethernet cable for the wire source. This will provide up to eight different wire colours. I build my own JST-ZH connectors using this tool and it's much cheaper than outsourcing the work.
