But it ain't watertight though. 

I only order PCB's from them and the numbers sometimes jumps with more than one. The number of items in my order list is only 30. 
13 ==> 15
18 ==> 20
22 ==> 24
30 ==> 35
35 ==> 38
43 ==> 46

Why those jumps beats me.

Well that explains it. I do do that occasionally to check on the price or look at the design in the gerber viewer.

on my page: pcb and assembly increment by one each, 3d prints dont.
just uploading gerbers didnt increment for me either

im at Y118 now

Apparently re-orders don't increment the Y-number, they retain the original PCB Y#.  So I'm at Y-185.
