Same here as well. Thank you.

BTW, can you simulate the 59992a output with dual output signal generator?

I used a dual output gen to do that stage of the the cal, but can't verify if it was better or not. It did pass fine though.

Good to know, Steve. Thanks.

What settings did you use for modes 1 through 4?

Hi mate, just wondering if the calibration kit is still available?
Thanks.

I found a way to perform the Fine Time Interval calibration using nothing more than my Siglent SDG2082X and a pair of BNC Jumpers.  The length of the jumpers should be close but do not need to be exact, any phase or timing offset between the two is measured and canceled out in the 4 part calibration.

Set the SDG20xx gen to 100ns square wave (50.0% duty cycle), 1v P-P into 50ohm load, turn on channel copy coupling to sync, turn on both channel outputs.

Connect channel 1 and 2 from the generator to the counter channel 1 and 2 respectively and perform Fine TI cal step 1 (A)

Swap channel 1 and 2 on the counter and perform calibration step 2 (B)

Return channel 1 and 2 to the first position as in step 1 and set 180 deg phase shift between the generator channel 1 and 2 then perform calibration step 3 (C)

Swap channel 1 and 2 on the counter and perform calibration step 4 (D)

Fine TI cal should pass.

I also spent some time to verify the accuracy of this cal and best I can tell its within 10ps.

I do the same with my SDG2122X and I can confirm it works well.

(As a side note, you can easily hack your SDG2082X to an SDG2122X... ;) )
Where does all this test equipment keep coming from?!?
