I am looking for some guidance on doing the sample string linearization adjustment for my Fluke 332D/AB (yes, a strange -/AB variant).
I am looking to avoid a Fluke 731 or 732 (and of course, avoid a Weston cell).
Basically what I am interested in doing is this:
(1.) DC voltage standard -> (2.) Kelvin Varley divider -> Fluke 845AR -> DUT (Fluke 332D)
For the DC standard I am looking at ab-precision.de DVR1 (10V @ 2ppm and 0.25ppm/K) or voltagestandard.com vref10-001 r9 (10V @ 10ppm and 0.4ppm/
oC).
For the KVD, of course a Fluke 720A would be ideal, but I am wondering if I can get it done with an ESI RV722. The ESI unit has 1ppm linearity, but it says it can be "certificate corrected" to 0.2ppm. The Fluke 720A has 0.1ppm linearity.
I have attached a crude image of my proposed set up. Does this set up not work for some reason? It seems OK to me, but I am not an experienced voltnut.
I am not sure about the cable shielding/ground connections- I copied as best I could from the Navair 17-20AE-103 document regarding the 332D (see page 8 ).
