I am looking for the manufacturer and part number of the fans in a 5700A first generation (unable to find in the parts section of the repair manual !). Thank you.

No markings at all? Not even embossed in the plastic? Anyways, fans have pretty standardized dimensions. Measure diameter and voltage and it should be easy enough to find something..

There is a pic with fan label on
Todd's 5700A repair article
. I tend to replace fans with slightly faster/noisier fans to get unit more comfortable. Fans, capacitors, carbon resistors replacement are just go to procedure on any expensive R&M device older than 10 years. Relays are consumables as well for stuff like scanners/calibrators, and so on.
