[Stm32 Cube IDE] Programming without debugging?
« on: May 03, 2023, 07:38:50 pm »
Hello guys
I just switched from Keil uvision to STM32 CUBE IDE which has a simple option to program the MCU in very fast way , without debugging as opposed to Cube which launch a debugging session that takes about 1 min before it uploads the hex file to the MCU. .My question: Is there any option to for uploading the hex file without debugging in Stm32 Cube?
TIA

Use "run" instead debug?

Install openocd, run from command line, takes only seconds (although understanding how to use it would take a few hours first).

Disable auto-build before starting a run / debugging session. You can find this in the run / debug configuration setting.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
