Arm transistor #?

I was just wondering if any one knew how many transistor are in a arm cortex m3?

I read 33,000 gates; not sure how many transistors that might be?

As its an IP core and te designs are sold it would depend on the design tool the company producing the chip uses and also the process they use.

k thanks I was just curious how big a an fpga it would take to replicate one.
