Hey guys, I have found this last week in the local flea market. It has an Atmel AT89C52 8 bit micro and several sockets for I presume flashing different EEPROMs. The only thing that identifies it is a small label on the PCB that says MULTIPROG Rev. A. Does anybody know where i can find info on this thing .. I can only find info on the Atmel micro ...everything else is ungoogable - no information whatsoever ..... I need documentation and software. Would be glad if someone has info on this
thats the beast

It clearly has a rs232 type serial connection - have you tried talking to ? It might identify itself.
It also has what looks like a second crystal in the middle of the cluster of programming sockets - I think this may be aimed at programming processors rather than EPROMs.
Thanks, I will follow the pinouts to determine a safe voltage and see if the thingie talks. Will post results when ready.
A quick Google suggests it could be PLC related.
My beat is that this is an EPROM programmer
