I'm looking for a low cost FPGA dev board to tinker and learn with, this seems to fit the bill, especially as i have a Pi Zero already.

Looks like a nice board, and I'm sure it would make a good learning vehicle. If your learning is directed at acquiring job skills keep in mind that Lattice is an also-ran in the FPGA industry. You'd gain better transferable FPGA skills going with a Xilinx or Altera board.
