seeking a freescale HCS08 binary/hex debugger/disassembler
« on: November 05, 2013, 03:57:01 am »
I was wanting to have a poke around the firmware on a mc9s08jm32 (Freescale). Sadly, my version of IDA doesnt have built in support for freescale processors.

Can anyone link me to a disassembler that supports the HCS08 processor? Preferably an  IDA plugin if possible. Id really appreciate it.

I doubt its hard, but im also sure that one already exists since Freescale is listed as a supported cpu on th IDA website, but apparently not in whatever version im using.

I just really hate to reinvent the wheel, ya know?

That was my previous favourite processor series. I have heaps of tools for it, but I won't be back in the office for a
few hours. I'll let you know then.
Hello <tap> <tap> .. is this thing on?

I too have been looking for an HCS08 IDA module.
Any chance I could get it as well?
Thanks.
