usb blaster works once only, needs a reinstall every time!

I got my usb blaster and Altera CycloneII EP2C5T144 FPGA Mini Development Board, had some time today to set it up... 

problem. After following the install procedure for windows 8 (disabling driver signature check)  it works with Quartus II 10.1sp1 Web Edition (it detects the device),however when I unplug the device or accidentally unplug it , it doesn't work! I have to reinstall the the driver every-time, a restart doesn't even fix the problem.

This is the driver error I get.

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)
The driver could not be loaded because a previous version of the driver is still in memory.


Its the infamous usb blaster.

i suspect your driver is not compatible with Windows 8. the answer is probably Windows XP or Windows 10 try go to device manager, disable and re-enable the driver. or get the latest driver...

I tried this. nothing same problem
