Hey, I have to ask a question

SOME of the ISSUES  I find over the years:
1. Websites have figured how to "game" the search engines,
2. Too many security updates and the rapid updating to new OS's (Operating Systems)

May I suggest you sleep on this, sort your thoughts, and write another, shorter post instead of this "written on the fly" stream of consciousness.

To me you are not making a whole lot of sense. What is it you are concerned about -- some beloved content going away? New formats popping up that you don't like? (Why not just ignore them?) Can't find relevant answers via Google anymore? (Have you tried LLMs for more complex queries?) And how is "freezing some old computers" supposed to help with changing offerings on the internet?

Good point. I am asking too many questions, and failed to make clear why I have done so for this particular audience.

Thank You. I could not delete the topic but have managed to remove most ot the content. So I can review and rewrite it more clearly and succinctly.
